Fees

As of February 15, 2013, the fees for taking the certification exam are as follows (revised periodically):

Application Fee (non-refundable):

$175 for CFMA Members
$250 for Non-Members

Examination Fee:

$515 for CFMA Members
$595 for Non-Members

Examination Retake Fee (restrictions apply*):

$250 for CFMA Members, plus $175 application fee
$300 for Non-Members, plus $250 application fee

* There is a reduced examination re-take fee available to candidates for 18 months from the original or last unsuccessful examination attempt. You must wait a minimum of six (6) months between exam attempts. A new application form and all applicable fees must be submitted each time re-examination is requested and you must meet all eligibility requirements in effect at the time of the application.

Application & Payment Deadlines:

Your application and all fees must be received by ICCIFP by the registration deadline published online for each examination, which is typically a minimum of 30 days prior to the examination date. Any applications received aftter the published deadline are subject to rejection.

Total Fees:

The total initial fee for the credentialing process for the first-time candidate is $690 for CFMA members and $845 for non-members. For those candidates retaking the examination after an unsuccessful attempt, the total initial fee for the credentialing process is $425 for CFMA members and $550 for non-members.

Payment must accompany your application and may be made by money order, certified check orpersonal check made payable to "ICCIFP" and mailed to: ICCIFP Registrar, 100 Village Boulevard, Suite 200, Princeton, NJ 08540. If applying online, payment must be made at the time of application by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. No other forms of payment shall be accepted. Failure to submit the fees in the required form will result in the rejection of your application.

The application fee of $175 for CFMA members and $250 for non-members is non-refundable. If, upon review of your application, the ICCIFP determines that you fail to meet the eligibility requirements in effect at the time of your application, the application form and any documentation submitted shall be returned to you along with a refunded payment amount equal to the examination fee.

Annual Recertification Fee (due annually by March 31st of each year):

Effective January 10, 2017:

$200 for all CCIFPs

Annual Recertification Fees paid after the March 31 deadline are subject to a $25 late payment assessment.
